Appointed Person First Aid
Maximum 12 Delegates
A one-day course which will enable delegates to summon help and give emergency aid to a casualty and manage the situation in a competent and safe manner prior to assistance arriving from the emergency services.
Course Syllabus includes:
• Priorities of First Aid
• Action at an emergency
• Casualty assessment and recovery position
• Basic life support – rescue breathing and cardio pulmonary resuscitation
• Choking
• Medical Emergencies
• Treatment of Bleeding, burns & Breaks
